Dedicated Acne Treatment in Miami
The AAI is a recognized leader in acne treatment in Miami. The Institute is devoted to healing acne. Our board certified physicians and clinical experts use state-of-the-art treatments to heal even the most severe forms of acne breakouts.
Leader in Acne Treatment in Miami
The AAI is focused solely on treating your acne. That is our only goal—to help you achieve clear skin. Our patients tell us all the time about their previous experiences with doctors who spend very little time with them and just don't listen to their concerns. It's as if the doctors don't seem to think that acne is a real problem.
Well it's different at the AAI. Not only do we take the time to listen to our patients, but we understand just how frustrating acne can be. We appreciate how acne can affect one's self-esteem and self-confidence and how it can interfere with social interactions on a daily basis.
At the AAI, we've treated thousands of patients with all degrees of acne – mild, moderate and severe. We commonly treat patients who have come to us after becoming frustrated with other doctors who prescribe the same things over and over again without seeing any improvement. Unlike other doctors' offices, our innovative therapies are tailored to each patient's individual needs. We explain which treatments will work and those that are less likely to provide improvement and we help our patients decide on the best treatment regimen for them to handle their acne. Our patients consistently rate their experiences with us as "excellent" on our satisfaction surveys.
How is Treatment Different at the AAI?
Before coming to the AAI, many of our patients have tried over-the-counter acne remedies, facials and other advertised products without success. Some have even gone to dermatologists with no improvement. How is that possible?
How is the AAI different?
Well, first of all, over-the-counter products, despite what the advertisers want you to believe, are often not strong enough to treat most types of acne by themselves. Secondly, many doctors prescribe the same treatments and medicines to every patient, despite differences in the type and degree of their acne breakouts, because that's what they were taught in their medical training. You see, in medical school acne is not considered to be a serious medical condition, so most doctors have very little training in how to treat it. The truth is, many of the treatments that are frequently prescribed for acne by primary care doctors and general dermatologists are simply not very effective.
It's different at the AAI. We're continually evaluating new concepts in acne treatment and we have devised innovative regimens and therapies to achieve maximal success at treating acne. We individualize each patient's treatment and make sure to choose options that have the best chance of working.
Is my treatment covered by insurance?
At the Advanced Acne Institute, we understand that many health insurance plans now have very large copays and deductibles and other associated costs that can make a visit to the doctor unaffordable. Therefore, in order to make acne treatment easily affordable, we offer low cost access options including modest visit fees and additional savings through membership options designed to remove financial barriers for acne sufferers seeking our help. Our access models also work well for patients in need of treatments such as acne facials, chemical peels and phototherapy that are generally not covered by insurance. For those who wish to use medical insurance, the medications that we prescribe are almost always covered by most health insurance plans.
